We wanted to share a bit of our story with you, as you play such an important role in it. McCauley Egg Company began in 1954 when David McCauley, Sr. decided to start selling eggs. Before this, he had tried his hand at selling life insurance, home appliances, and office equipment, but he quickly realized those sales were often a one-time transaction. He knew that eggs were different—everyone would need them, and customers would return week after week.

With this understanding, he poured his heart into the business, believing that quality and consistency would keep customers coming back. His hard work paid off, and what started as a small operation quickly grew into something much bigger.

As the years passed, the company continued to thrive. After David McCauley, Sr. retired, David McCauley, Jr. took over and continued to build on the strong foundation that had been laid. Today, we, Jesse and Leslie McCauley, are proud to lead the company as the third generation, staying true to the values of quality and care that have always been at the heart of our business.
